Sefton is home to one of the biggest and most successful shipping ports in the world, The Port of Liverpool, with cargo departing and arriving from around the globe 24 hours a day.

The borough also encompasses world renowned nature reserves, thriving business and retail centres, top class leisure facilities and some of the best agricultural land and countryside locations in the country.
