Southport Eco Visitor Centre

In addition to being the home of our very popular Southport Park and Ride service, the Eco Centre hosts an award-winning education facility with over 10 years experience of delivering inspirational sessions to school, college and community groups from the North West region and beyond. There are a wide range of topic based visits to choose from including innovative learning in outdoor settings. All visits are cross curricular and linked to National Curriculum attainment targets.  For prices or for more information, please contact the centre.

The building itself offers a practical demonstration of sustainability having been designed and built with the environment in mind, including exciting renewable technologies and green design features so have a look next time you are using the park and ride service.

The Centre has also forged strong links with many local community groups and runs regular free family open days in school holidays where members of the public are invited behind the scenes to see what is on offer.

Additionally, the centre can be booked for a conference or meeting at a very reasonable price and don't forget our wonderful cycle hire facility which has bikes to rent for all the family.  If you have your own bike, the centre also houses a secure undercover shelter.
